Nicholas Bruckman is an Emmy®-nominated director and founder of People’s Television, a creative studio based in NYC and DC that tells bold, cinematic stories – from acclaimed independent feature films to campaigns for the world’s leading brands, foundations, and social movements.

His most recent feature documentary, Minted: The Rise (and Fall?) of the NFT, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, broadcast on PBS Independent Lens, and was released on Netflix in over 100 countries in 2025.

Nick also directed the acclaimed feature documentary Not Going Quietly, which won both the Audience Award and Jury Prize at SXSW amongst over 25 international awards and nominations, including two Emmys, Critics Choice, IDA, and Cinema Eye Honors. The film was released theatrically nationwide by Greenwich Entertainment, and was acquired for global  streaming by Hulu and Vice Media.

Before that, he produced the narrative feature Valley of Saints, which won the Audience Award at Sundance, was a New York Times Critic’s Pick, and earned a Spirit Award nomination.

Coming up next is The Price of Milk, a new docuseries co-directed by Nick that pulls back the curtain on the true story behind the ‘Got Milk?’ campaign. It premiered at Tribeca 2025.
